I love Leela's outfits. Her style kinda reminds me of mine.  :)

When I was 9 I thought Fry's attire was cool. I got my parents to buy me similar clothes, but not identical, because I didn't want my sister realising and making fun of me.

What I find interesting about the show is that most of the clothes are similar to modern day styles. They might cut out the midriff or add little wings to the shoulders or something, but other than that, most of it would pass in the modern day. The only time they allude to it is when Amy has her "Rings aren't cool, they're cool because they're stupid!" exchange with Fry in The Hip Joint. (I forget which episode that was.)

Although I do like when they add little character-appropriate touches, like the speed-stripes on Fry's formal wear, and Leela's evening boots. Amy's wildly inappropriate slutty funeral dress (from BwaBB) also cracks me up, as does the big meringue wedding dress she wears while she and Kif are getting spattered in muck. ("This is the happiest day of my life!")

Bender gets some amusing outfits too. I'm not sure I call them "fashion", but they're always fun. His chef's apron, his "hat from The Playa's Ball!" in Prop Infinity, and his flannel shirt from 40% Leadbelly ("I tell people I won it in a knife fight in J Crew!") have all stuck in my memory.

The vast majority of male clothing in Futurama has those circular things on the shoulders.

As much as I love this show, I wouldn't want to dress like the characters.   Like their clothes and the clothes they wear fit their personalities.
