Hmm, I don't think there's really a best one overall, but I'd say Farnsworth's best for comedy while Fry and Leela are tied for being best when it comes to who's most sympathetic and likable.

It really depends for me. I think that Bender and Zoidberg are the funniest characters, but I'm not exactly sure if they're the best characters.
