I don't know how ANYTHING can top becoming your own grandfather in the stupidity department.

Hey, wait, isn't there another poll exactly like this one?

Some funny moments here.. I went for the countdown from 'The Series Has Landed', but other favourite moments here are activating the thought tentacles twice, Futurama's very own parrot sketch, and thinking he's a robot.

This is different from the stupidity thread, Krytes.  This is "Funniest" moments, not stupidest.  Fry can be funny without being stupid.

Rule #1 of open-ended polls - always include a write-in vote.

That said, I vote for any of his moments in Amazon Women in the Mood.

Becoming his own grandfather is pretty hard to beat.

One which isn't included would be missing the button in "Big Ball Of Garbage", hilarious!

Cheers,

My favorite has to be Fry's Afro, as you can tell by my avatar. It was comic genius.

H_c - in a poll where it's a "best of" set of options, where you're asking someone's opinion, it's always best to leave #10 as a "You didn't include _______" option, because, quite frankly, people will find something they think is better than what you have listed.  I thought Fry's funniest moments came in "Amazon Women in the Mood," but sadly, it wasn't an option.  In the Leela's Best Fight poll, I thought her best kung-fu moment was when she "attacked" the Amazons in, you guessed it, Amazon Women in the Mood.

I went with "being his own grandfather" although using the ships engines as a hair drier would have got my vote had it been there.

There's some great choices on the Poll, but I think one of Fry's funniest moments was in 'The Day The Earth Stood Stupid' when he told everyone to stop being so stupid, and he had the megaphone the wrong way round  laff

"Hey, you're quite the talker?" *sqwauk* "Shut the hell up!!"

Although the bowscene in "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" has to be one of the funniest yet.

I liked when he acted like a robot in "Insane in the Mainframe."  Not only was it funny, it was great how he rescued everyone at the end.

Yeah, like (not exact): "Oh no, my secret pin number (turns to repo man), 1077"

Ok not very exact at all but it might bring back memories.

can't believe you didnt mention the moment fry made (the only?) joke while knowing it:

"Oh, so it's a little safer than skateboarding!" and then -> coolest smile ever!

[from "The Cryonic Woman"]

My favorite Fry moment would have to be when he was first thawed out. Something along the lines of

"I'm in the future. My parents, girlfriend, brother, and everyone I ever knew are gone"

"Woohoo!"

And I still think Fry was always his own grandfather. Which makes it even funnier than becoming his own grandfather. Just think, all those years he could have sent his dad to his room.
