So, now you know what would be funny, too? If Scruffy and Zoidberg were to go out. At the beginning of the episode: "It is I, Zoidberg, lover of Scruffy!" all dramatic like, and then nobody's looking at Zoidberg, who's desperately looking for attention. Then, Scruffy comes from behind Zoidberg, slaps him on the ass, and then says, "Let's bounce, baby." and then they're off.
End of the Episode comes, in the last two seconds, Zoidberg jumps out and says, "I broke up with Scruffy!" and then someone breaks the fourth wall , Leela, and says, "Look Zoidberg, we don't have time for this. The show's over." Then fades out.

FRY IS HETERO FOR LEELA AND THAT'S THE END OF THAT ARGUMENT, FOR I AM ZEE GOOGZUS, AND MY WORD IS THE WORD OF GOD. I think.

Also, Unmentionable, do fries go with that shake?

That's a funny premise for Zoidberg and Scuffy but it seems against Scruffys nature.  If they could have a reason for Scruffy to basically take on bestiality then I'd be game for that pun.

Smitty and URL started as Futurama's version of Lenny and Carl.  Yet, Lenny and Carl do have a "counterweight" in the Simpsons, so to speak:
These two are straight characters, who often manage to appear gay. On the other hand, there is Smithers as an obviously gay character, but (afaiK), his homosexuality will never be mentioned/declared.

That "let's make something obvious, and let's never point it out openly" premise is rather delivered by Hermes (supposed) weed consumption.

Well, if they ever give the Nimbus a personality, it would almost be a waste not to make it a female. Maybe a Zapp/Nimbus (relation)ship. Zapp would surely pull a Quagmire and get his wing-dang-doodle stuck in one of the many openings I'm sure any DOOP ship vessel would have.

Although it would more be Zapp doesn't know what his ship is doing and gets scared by it, and then Kif and Amy have a rather relaxed but strikingly odd conversation about their ships getting nasty while they're on it. In the background, Zapp's freakin' out, running all around the bridge of the Nimbus.
