Yup, homer's girth was impressive for only 300+ pounds. In Futurama, there was a real fat guy using a steaming machine when Amy asked if she could use it.

King Size Homer. I love that episode. I haven't seen AOI2 so I ain't seen a fat-assed Bender. Dang.

In Futurama there's that fat young guy in ACV10 "A flight to remember", when Amy's parents want to introduce him to her daughter   
the guy also appears later in the episode and in other episodes too (but I don't remember which ones)
