It's based on a deleted scene from The Series Has Landed.

Yup, I saw that too.
The weirdest thing about deleted scenes is that there are no sound effects, only voices.
If you really want to know what it 's about, read the spoiler.

unfortunately, I couldn't buy the comic 'cause I don't live in the US or UK or elsewhere the comics were published and/or translated   :(

Robotany: You seem to understand English well enough, couldn't you mail order them?  Most comic sites will ship to anywhere in the world, and I haven't had a single one that didn't arrive in pristine/mint condition.

good idea, McGrady
but in this moment I've got less money than in Zoidberg's wallet  :D  :(
maybe next autumn I'll try to buy all the Futurama comics released by Bongo...
Any suggestion about a good comic site which ships also in Italy? (I think, maybe UK sites would work better for shorter shipping delivery times and less taxes to pay...)

Sometime later this year Bongo (makers of Groenings comics, like simpsons, futurama, radioactive man) will release a group of the first 4 comics.

Not too many UK Futurama comic distributers, US would be easiest to find but maybe more expensive shipping.  They cost $2.50 which is pretty cheap in the sense you can order 10 for 1/2 the price of a video game or one meal at a medium grade restaraunt.

True, I just ordered the first 8 issues from an online shop in the US. $2.50 a piece that comes to 20 dollar. And then $10.95 shipping. That almost turned me away, but seeing as this is the first place I found where I could buy all 8 for this low price, I went for it.

Now I just have to wait 2-4 weeks. Come on already, what's the hold up?

just how many comics have been released yet?
I thought they were more than 4... but you're telling me that Bongo still has to release the first 4 ones?  or, perhaps you mean Bongo will release all the first 4 numbers together in a book-like edition? I would prefer single numbers anyway.

ps - just joking about the money- I have  ;) but I've got exams now and prefer postpone the buying after them and after summer vacations in August... So I think setp/oct would be fine to enjoy reading them peacefully  :)

Robotany --- they just released issue #9 a few weeks ago. What they're doing is releasing the first four issues in a collected edition. Comic-book companies have been doing that for years.

As for payment... I've heard of something called "Paypal" but I have no idea how that works.

PayPal looks scary at first, but it's favored by eBay and has worked for me without a single hitch for ages.

I don't know if their probationary "credit-card" period is still required, but by giving PayPal some basic info which is visible on all my checks, I can authorize them to deduct the cost of purchases directly from my bank account. Give 'em a look.

thank you, I'll check later

what about UK sites then?
btw, I'll check also my comic shop in Pisa - sometimes they import comics (usually from Japan, but I'll ask if they can get me also Bongo comics)

Pisa? Is it true that they're trying to straighten out the Tower?

But Zoidy owned 51% of Planet Express. That's a whole lotta toilet paper.

And Kryten: I've not heard anything about trying to straighten the tower, but builders are constantly trying to reenforce it somehow so it doesn't collapse, which it will do one day unless something is done to it.

hey! straightening the Tower would only mean losing tourists   :p (and, trust me, there's nothing more really worth to see in Pisa than its Tower    )

during last years there have been works to reenforce the Tower base in order to avoid possible collapsing. The entrance to the Tower was closed for many years during those works; now they're finished, the Tower is safe and tourists can enjoy again going up and watch the panorama   :)
