What movies do you wish Futurama would spoof?    It could also be a B-Movie as well.

I for one would like to see the following:

Smokey and the Bandit
Walking Tall (with Bender as Buford Pusser!)
Fu Manchu (the Christopher Lee movies)
Bride of the Monster
Gamera/Godzilla
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World
Enter the Dragon
Sherlock Holmes
Transporter
Cradle 2 The Grave
Christopher

Dune

I'm just anal enough to wonder if Louiswuenator refers to the egregiously bad 1984 Dune movie, or the slightly less bad 2000 Dune miniseries.

The movie.  I agree that it was pretty atrocious, especially when it came to the role of the Fremen, but it made up for it with an outstanding cast.  Anyway, it had some quite memorable scenes worthy of parody.  (I know Futurama has already parodied Dune with the sandworms but I want to see some more.)

How about Death Wish and Dirty Harry?  And also Untraceable!  Leela, Bender, Hermes, and Amy are FBI agents who track down a serial killer who kills people on an internet site!  Fry, Zoidberg, and Zapp are the victims and the culprit is Lrrr.

I would like to see other Jackie Chan Police Story movies get the Futurama treatment.  Bender is the Jackie Chan-like cop, Fry can be his bumbling friend who wants to go on missions with him.  Mom's sons and the Robot Mafia can be the villains.  Hermes is Bender's boss in it, Zoidberg is a psychotic deaf guy, and Leela, Amy, and Labarbra can be those women who beat up suspects in the interrogation room!

Those would be fun spoofs!

cant believe no one mentioned Star Wars or Indiana Jones. but i guess spoofing on SW right now is a bit over-done thanks to Robot Chicken & Family Guy

Indiana Jones would be cool.  Star Wars is way overdone.  Also Back the the Futurama spoofs are, too.  If an Indiana Jones spoof is possible, Bender would be Indy and Fry would be Marcus Brody!

Dune

Eh, the movie may have been ...different in the way that only a David Lynch adaptation could be, but at least Lynch didn't have scenes of Fremen in the open desert without their stillsuits.

Also, what was up with that Princess Irulan subplot in the miniseries?  Where did that come from?

You must have a strong dislike for Futurama then because like 75% is based on a show you dislike.

Brian de Palma's The Untouchables.

Bender is back into the mafia and somehow he becomes the big boss (also known as Al Benderone).

Dumb idea, I know.  :o

This isn't a movie, but I'd like to see spoofs of Stargate SG-1 (or the Stargate film) and Battlestar Galactica. I see so many Trek references that I think they need to branch out. :-)

I'm with ya! Far too much Star Wars for my taste already. The Sithil War was borderline unbearable to me.

EDIT: Sorry for the double post. N00b here!

Don't mean to double post.  I would like to see Futurama spoof a 1920's silent movie involving a train.

If this happened, who would be tied to the tracks?
