Weird Character Pairings goings on.

I could warm up to a West/Future World parody, in a theme park containing several eras.
Though -as TNUK already stated- long running parodies (instead of cameo gimmicks) are usully not really Futurama's thing, but this theme park could work.
(Most of the humor would be dervied from the Future perception of those various eras anyway, and not so much the West/Future World plot anyway).

I think any of the Wongs plus Mom has potential. Leo and Inez could team up with Mom and then get into wild disagreements. Maybe even a pairing with Amy and Walt. Just a random thought.

Alright, maybe not.

They're too near the bottom rung of the latter to match up. For it to work well I think you would need at least one of them to be a major (er) character...but tbh I don't think I could stand hyperchicken or Sal for a full episode. They work well as they are now.

I am actually surprised we haven't seen some Nixon/Mom pairings. Ha, can you imagine a Morbo/Lrrr pairing...it would be 21 minutes of Maurice going at it with himself And then denying the two sound even remotely alike THEY DON'T!
