Despite Teral's disdain for Helper, I love his grating optimism, ridiculous mechanical noises and magic pudding-pop producing abilities, so Helper gets my vote.

Helper: Who wants to go to an amusement park?
Fry: Well, I guess that sounds like fun...
Helper: Have a good time!

Roberto is the best robot in Futurama, and the sexiest  :flirt:

Hahah just kidding, Juliet.

I love all his lines, and since he's a character in my favorite episode, IITM, and he wields a knife, he so gets my vote. If there was a good Roberto avatar, I'd so be using it right now.

Well depending on whether or not i've voted here before, i'll go with The Robot mafia, not one robot, but too bad! If i had to choose one, i guess to be different, i'd choose Joey Mousepad.

again unsure of the exact wording, but you get the idea, it was sarcastic.

I voted for Robot Santa. Now that's a robot with attitude, I love that. Plus John Goodman's voice in "Xmas Story" was perfect for him, absolutely perfect. John DiMaggio did a great job in "A TAle Of Two Santas", but I really wish they'd brought Goodman back.

Yep, basicly what MOV (my old nemesis, the Quicktime format) says.

Goodman wasn't available to do the ATOTS voice-over, and the commentators mocked him in "Xmas Story".

When you get/if you have the season 3 DVD's listen to the commentaries when Santa first show up, and Cohen (or was it Dimaggio) will explain it again.

HECK!! It seems that I already voted in this one. But that was WAY back. I think in those days it was Malfunctioning Eddie, but now it's definately Roberto... I wuv that way he calls Fry Red and when he practises his stabbin'.. yeah! I also like the idea that he's apparently made for crime (the beagle-boys mask), which is funny as h... As they commented on the MU commentary- "Why would someone design a robot that was fat?" (NOT a quote- unless I incidentally got it right) True. Why would someone design a criminal robot? And why would someone design a lazy disgusting robot (Hedonismbot) and a crippled one (Tinny Tim) and there's more weird WTF-ish designs in there. Grand.

I really like Bender and the Robot Devil, naturally, but I gotta mention that fells from War is the H-word. The one who was working at the hospital, who would say something funny and then switch to a sad mode and say something like "When will the killing end?"

"This isn't war, this is murder...This isn't war, this is moiydah!"

Dannilicous:The Doctor robot in 'War is the H-Word' is called iHawk, and is loosely based on Hawkeye from M*A*S*H (similar voice, fondness for martinis, and I think the irreverent and madlai were for his mood-switching in the show)

I like this "Favorite Robot" thread because it doesn't include Bender.  Bender, of course, wins every "Favorite Robot" poll he's included in.  I'm interested in who comes in second.

I voted, as others did, for the Robot Devil, Beelzebot.  Partly because I love Dan Castellenata's performance.  Partly because when the Robot Devil is involved, something nefariously funny inevitably happens.

Let's give the Robot Devil a hand.  Umm, not mine, though.

I love them all, but the priest robot is my favourite, his best scene has to be in Crime of  the hot, when he gets hit by bender and says “oh, mercy” then pulls out a knife, I was in stitches!

definitely Roberto, i probably like him more than bender.

these are two of the best quotes in futurama...

Fry: Why would you hold up the same bank twice?

Roberto: Ah, that first time was just to case the joint and rob it a little.  What's the matter? You SCARED?

and...

Roberto: Jeez, Red. Quit cowering. You call yourself a RO-BOT?
