The characters of Futurama have done quite a few intersting things over time, but has there ever been something you'd like to see a certain character do?

For instance, I'd like to see Leela actually, seriously sing a real song, all the way through. I know she sang some of her lines in "The Devil's Hands..." and she sang part of "I Will Always Love You" (done badly on purpose) in another episode. But, if I'm not mistaken, didn't Katey Sagal start her career as a back-up singer (a "Harlette" ) for Bette Midler, back in Bette's early days?  I've heard a couple of tracks from, "Room", Katey's CD. She obviously has the skills. I think her character oughtta have a chance to really sing.

Good one, Anarchy_Balsac! In fact, that sounds a whole lot more interesting than my idea of having Leela really sing. Most excellent.

She didn't sing it badly on purpose, she sang the Whitney Houston version.

I would like to see Fry get really skinny.  Plus, Bender being a detective only to get a reward for himelf would be cool, too!

I think an episode where the main plot is Bender taking off to fulfill a fantasy of being a space pirate, and the PE crew searching for him would be interesting.

I'd like to see a flashback of Amy in her college school girl days... having sleepovers at the sorority house, pillow fights, and parties every night with alcohol and skimpy clothing!

It would be good to see an episode where it shows the future, with Kif's children and Cubert and Dwight grown up. Have they purposely avoided doing that of want to not give away what happens with Fry and Leela or have they just not thought of the idea

You damned right.
Just imagine: The song of poor but unbreakeble girl, livin' alone in this hard world...

A western adventure!   Also, Fry, Bender and Leela become the New Justice League again, and this time Hermes, Amy, and Zoidberg try the cream and become heroic alter egos themselves!

I have to say, I'd go for either Leela singing properly (and I have 'Room' myself, and yes, Katey Sagal does have quite the set of pipes on her :D ), or College Amy - though if the writers wanted to do a Futurama in The (Further) Future episode, I certainly wouldn't complain.  :)

Of course, possibly the best 'what haven't they done' thing for characters is for a certain TL to take up a certain PF on his offer of a date. :)

Seriously though, the two of them on a date, Leela giving him an actual chance, Fry desperately trying to make sure nothing goes wrong, everything (of course) going totally sideways...comedy gold.

How about B-Movie spoofs?  I'd like to see Futurama spoof Bride of the Monster, Gamera vs Zigra, and Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla!

Couldn't happen...

The only three real monsters are Dracula, Blakula, and Son of Kong.  :p

How about a Day of the Dead holiday episode, where the undead come out for their anual feeding.  It would be a great way to have Chaunaka Zombie, and Zombie Jesus working together in the spirit of fellowship.  ;)

*to Kust, just ribbin ya.  If thar be Zombies, thar be monsters.

How about Bender being a super spy, and Fry is his reluctant helper?

Ha-Ha. Something like "James Bot, Bending Unit 007" with a hidden gun in his finger?

Yes, exactly.  I would also like to see Futurama do a spoof of that show House.  In the show House has a bad leg.  Bender could be House, and the twist would be that Fry is the one with the bad leg.   Fry could be Wilson.

Some of the individual works are rather risque'. You've been warned.
