Ok so I had this idea of a game. The rules are simple. For every main character in the show you must pick the best and worst episode for the characters and describe why. You base your decision based on the characters behavior and NOT the episode plot itself.

For example.

Leela's best episode was Leela's Homeworld. The scene when she was about to kill her parents was intense and realistic. Katey got the voice down perfectly.

Leela's worst episode was The Why of Fry. She completely disregarded Fry's feelings.
For the entire episode she rubbed her date in Fry's face and when they ended, she ran back to Fry and wanted him to like her again.

I don't know if this is really a game, with it looking more like a listing of character traits. How do you select a winner? Where are the choices?

I don't want to sound like an ass though, so I'll list something for...Bender.

BEST: "I, Roomate." A perfect blend of his zany side and his softer, caring side.

WORST: "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings." I can't really explain why. He just seemed off to me.

FIRST of all: Please dont say "whore". Say "lady of the night".  :)

SECOND of all: Shouldn't this go under HUman Resources for character discussion?

THIRD of all: Morbo was awesome in 300 Big Boys  :)

You would not have done well if you'd been in Ralph's general vincinity in the aftermath of BBS. Not well at all.

Hey, I've been hard on Leela, but I don't think I ever used the word "whore" when ranting about her.  I do admit to using almost every other derogatory comment about our big boot wearing ocular oddity, but not "whore" or "slut".  Those are saved for Kryten's little angel, Amy.

You're right, Krytes, this thread degraded very rapidly.  I'm surprised that you didn't slam the thread closed.

I know, I just meant harsh language of that nature. Like you said, every other derogatory word.

In france they refer to women like that as

"falling in the neighborhood"

Also, I didn't mean it to be rude. Just to sum-up what I thought.

How about "humanoid hookerbot"?

I think of Bender's most entertaining episode as Bend Her; he did a great job switching from manbot to fembot and back, and may have even matured just a little bit...or maybe not.
Least favorite is probably Bendin' in the Wind, it didn't interest me very much compared to other episodes featuring Bender; John does such a great job with the voice that I have trouble disliking him at all

In terms of Bender's character, one of his "best" episodes in my opinion is the underrated "Bender Gets Made", due to him demonstrating his affection for Fry and Leela in that one.
"Worst" I feel would probably have to be "A Pharaoh to Remember" - no explanation required.

Singling anything out is much harder to do for Fry or Leela, however, since Leela shows her competence and practicality and Fry his "boyish charm" in many episodes; therefore it's more difficult to pick one or two out.

The Professor

Best: "Parasites Lost" He's almost always in control of the situation and seems to be the only one who ever knows what's going on.

Worst: "A Big Piece Of Garbage" I can sum that one up with one sentance. "Perhaps some sort of death clock."

Zoidberg....

Best:  That's Lobstertainment!  We got to learn that Zoidberg has some other family living on Earth.

Worst:  Why Must I Be a Crustation in Love?  Zoidberg misinterped Fry and Edna.
