But.. Zoidberg is the funniest character!

woop woopwoop woopwoop woop!

I wasn't glad to see Wernstrom return with a major role in BwaBB... he's just not a great character, and the jokes surrounding him weren't laugh-out-loud material.

He is Farnsworth's rival and great fodder for plenty of spinoff jokes; tell me you don't laugh when you hear Farnsy growl "WERNSTROM!" and shake his fist   :laff:
He also inspired the 'crack-slam' in BWABB, a really funny gag in my opinion   :D

I really wouldn't cry over losing Nixon's Head. He was only good for a few episodes, and I am now thoroughly finished with him. His voice is annoying, his presence is annoying, and his parts in the action are usually not only annoying but banal in the extreme.  He needs to be defeated in another election and let someone like Washington's Head have a go at it. The episode where Bender sells his body and hangs out beside Washington's Head at the Head Museum is priceless.  Who doesn't laugh when Washington's Head says "ahhhh, booze money!"

Come to think of it, Leela's parents aren't too thrilling, either. Their constant kvetching is carried a little too far sometimes.

Nixon hasn't been used as great as he once was... but he's still decent...

But ummmm.... the nudist aliens... probably... maybe.... they weren't my favorite.

Although, that scene where nudar makes out with himself is brilliant.

He's gotta stay: MG absolutely hates Nixon so the fact that you detest the character is perfect  :D
After seeing BWABB I honestly sort of wish Coleen would replace Amy (I know it won't happen, but...  ) She's a good ditz but so non-integral in my mind.

Zoidberg and Nibbler all the way.

Boring and ridiculous, the both of them.

I could see her being a recurring character... except for the fact that they whisked her away with Yivo...

And damn it, I want Nibbler back!

I wasn't a big fan of Yivo actually. Don't get me wrong the movie was good but shcle just seemed kinda weird and annoying. Then again that's probably what they were going for.

I still say Yivo should never have had direct communication with them. If it had all been through Fry it would have been a lot more dramatic - and potentially funnier to boot.

Don't want to see Colleen back, ever. She was boring, and did nothing but degrade the quality of BWABB.

Well seeing as how she is now trapped in the other universe with Yivo who is rather pissed at "Universe Gamma", I think seeing her again is about as likely as seeing Lars again.

I could see Coleen returning, especially if she and Yivo disagree on what or who they want to make a colletion of next.

Trouble with Nixon is that he's gotten all respectable since his re-election, almost devoid of conniving. Wouldn't want to see Washington in there at least until they got his dialect right. "Cracketh"? Com'mon he was a good ol' Virginia boy. They do Lincoln weird too, not like the Illinios hillbilly monkey he was often described as. Jefferson, now there's a guy that could deal with conflicting ideas, probably sound like a mix of Virginian and Jamacian, perhaps with a bit of pirate me boy-yos.

Same here.

Yivo was fairly annoying, as was Colleen, and Michelle, and Lars, and
Nudar and his cronies... Good thing none of them will probably be coming back.
I did like that new snooty robot in the League of Robots, though.

Agreed, I think his ship has sailed (although I still think his collaboration with Bob on Mr. Show was pretty great)
Agreed with futz, Jefferson would be a great head to add to the presidential mix.
I thought Coleen was less annoying than anyone else Fry has dated (including Lucy Liu).

I gained a bit more appreciation for it after listening to the commentary.

...a BIT more, mind you.

Michael, how....are you?

For those who were hating on Hedonism-Bot, i was recently watching the Devils Hands episode with commentary and the writers and David X all loved him. I love him too, he's not just a hedonist, he's all of hedonism. Now let us cavort like the greeks of old....you know the ones I'm talking about.

Yeah, Hedonismbot is a character that actually had to grow on me quite a bit...I didn't really like him all that much and found him somewhat otiose at first, but then I figured that kind of was the point. He's still not one of my favorite characters, but I appreciate him a lot more now.
I guess I see more humor in him now than I previously did.

Oh, Calculon and Hedonism-Bot are my favorite sideline characters. I'll have to make a HB avy where he's using industrial sandpapaer.

That being said, I don't think there's a character I don't like. Even Cubert... somehow.

And lets not forget, "Worn-strum!"

Damn, I suppose I have to watch the movie again.

I think that story about the human actually cracked me up.
He's pretty much the only Futurama-worthy new character in either movie so far, in my opinion.

I've never been a fan of Mom...but since she seems to be playing a prominent role in Bender's Game I think it's too late to complain.

I don't like Cubert either but it looks like he's wormed his way in too.

Don't want to see Lars or another Fry kicking around, ever. Time travel usually angers up my blood, but Futurama seems to be the only show that makes actual efforts to keep it contained and closed. Hoping that Yivo and Colleen will stay in their universe for good too.

Hi, I'm Chris: This is my first post, so if I do anything wrong, be sure give me and stern yelling at.

also, i don't like Michelle and pretty much every new character from the 2 movies. The scammers blew and Yeevo and Colleen were possibly the worst characters to ever hit Futurama (also Gary Gygax, that guy who invented dungeons and dragons from Anthology of Interest 1: I can barely watch that episode cause I want to punch him in the eye so bad  )

.... Also my long (however amazing) name screws up the thread like crazy and fires up OCD tendecies. Any way to fix that?

Hm, gotta say that alot of these characters I had no issue with.  The only one I'd not mind never seeing again was Michelle, probably because of flashbacks of my old ex that she reminds me of LOL.

Why on earth would you want to do that?   Anyway, he's dead now, so you can't.

The simplest way would be to register again without the underscores in your name (just use spaces).  It would be kind of a shame, though; I think you're our 10,000th member.
