That was probably unrelated.

That makes sense coldy about the orphanarium. Also i have no idea what to day to your last comment.

Oh my god! Archonix, that is soo wrong. the nextr shipper thread title will have to incorporate the fact that there's going to be Kirk/Spock slash on every page.

My little comic is highly ironic now. I've adjusted it to reflect that fact.

And no, it isn't spoilery.

You may be right.  That photo of Spock and Kirk in the bathtub looks very fake.

What?

A spoiler that implied certain things that are rather scary and possibly brilliant or horrible depending on how you look at it.

No actually I was refering to "Layla" both for the name and content of the song. I thought that would be kinda obvious. I guess I just found something you guys don't know everything about, classic rock, or I was just "baited."

I don't care how long it takes, i don't care how much the writer's make us suffer, as long as Fry and Leela eventually get to the point of knowing that they're going to be spending the rest of thier lives together as a couple, I'll be happy.

If Leela ends up spending the rest of her life happily in Lars' arms, my shippers heart will break   :(

Though how can Fry and Leela not end up together after all they've been through.  COME ON!

Bad day? Or is it just me? Damn...

* carefully removes scary teeth *

Baiting shippers is an easy target, I suppose it's easy for someone to do. Having said that, The Spoiler mentioned above kinda wrecks it even for the non-shippers.

SP, how did you get the movie this early?

Archonix, you can carefully edit the guns out of the comic and radically alter the meaning  :)

I'd have to change the dialogue as well. I think I prefer to leave it as it is as a testament to jumping the gun, as it were.

I was looking forward to the movie. I'm still looking forward to the movie, but at least now I won't have to hate anyone. Much.

Just a friendly warning large-scale spoilers are spilling fast and furious on the BBS thread without warning, so if you want to preserve any mystery about the movie I'd stay far away from the whole thing.

I'll explain what I liked and didn't like about Fryla relationship in BBS after the release date.  But IGN review/Ralph Snart comment basically summed up my reaction.

I got lucky at my girlfriend's house today.  :D

Well, actually, she's just a friend who's a girl. Come to think of it, most of my friends are girls... Anyway, she took a gamble on one of those internet ordering delivery services, and as such has gotten her BBS copy early.

Well, I wasn't too lucky, I suppose. She only let me watch the first five minutes before kicking me out. Said something about my spoiling it for everyone else. Anyway, I almost literally took notes. And since I'm starved for attention (thanks for not noticing, but really, you didn't have to), I present to you: A list of completely safe non-vital spoilers that make you feel like you've learned a lot but are really insignificant in the whole grand scheme of things!

Also, she told me that

has

on his

Yeah, really.

Maybe I'll try and manipulate her into showing me more later... Maybe take her out to dinner, chat her up, y'know...

Thinking about the Fry/Leela relationship here... All of Leela's past love interests that we are shown have all obviously been jerks and/or idiots (save for maybe Doug).  Perhaps the last obstacle F/L needs to cross is Leela finding a guy who's actually decent (who's not Fry).  Then her choosing Fry over the other decent guy.

Just a thought.

Oh and i said earlier I don't care how long it takes, I just want Fry/Leela to eventually get together forever.  I kind of do care.  I don't want them to be 160 when they finally cross the line between friends and lovers.  They need at least 100 years of happiness together!  At LEAST.

Edit: However I will take them getting together at 160 over them never getting together at all.

Xanny getting lucky? Oh what's the world coming to?  :)

I just read the IGN review, it's confusing. Looks like the author contradicted himself in several places. Or perhaps there was more than one author and less than one editor. *shrug*

The part about the DVD transfer being of poor quality sounds bad... the quality of the DVD version of the TV series was really good (save for the interlacing, but that's ok).

The entire thing it on youtube which is how my friend saw it already but as an honorable and pathetic Futurama fan I'm waiting till I get my DVD. Thus I've been avoiding said friend. He says it's really good and although he never really confirmed it, I kinda get a shipper "vibe" from him on certain episodes so.

On another note I've basically gone from depression to almost euphoria after remembering my reaction to the news in June last year. Plus the new tidbits of information that I haven't been able to avoid seem promising.I'd just like to say to all you people who are still depressed. Buck up, we freakin' won after four long years!

In closing:

LONG LIVE FUTURAMA!

PS: See? Like I said, euphoric.
