Reprinted because it was at the bottom of the page.  I want all Trek fans to be totally disgusted by this.

This thread is getting a bit dodgy...

Much, much worse.

Then there's the Janeway/Seven stuff...

Wait a second, I enjoyed some of those.  Especailly the photoshopped images of them in different stages of unclothness...

BTW, whers is this OC James fic located?

I read the OC James fic.

It was good.  Very good.

I saw the star trek picture.

It was bad.  So very bad.

I'll never be able to look at Spock's ears the same way again.

I don't know the answer to that.  The word that I would use is anything but 'hawt'.

Werl... speaking as a married man, once you're in a long-term relationship you usually have little choice about keeping cherished and well-worn underpants. Doesn't matter how comfy they are...

And yes, I fear I must bow to the inevitable and say there will be more. When, what and why I have no idea...  :)

That should do it.

Because she's different. She's not like anyone he's ever met. Leela is always there for him she sticks up for him. They sorta complete eachother you know? Fry makes Leela loosen up and Leela makes Fry straighten up and be more mature.

Originally posted by Sine Wave:Leela essentially made him into a new man (while still remaining the same Fry, if that makes sense), and gave his life meaning.

They basically give each other meaning. In The Sting when Leela thought that Fry was dead she was basically going insane an was about to give up and Fry never left her side. Then in The Why of Fry Fry feels useless when Leela is with Chaz and then  he went back to the future because of Leela even though he didn't feel like he even had a chance with her. I think that a lot of Leela's problems lie with the fact that everytime that she gets close to someone they disappear.

This is a little off topic but... Fry and Leela remind me a little of what I see with Harry and Hermione. Harry needs Hermione. When he thought that Hermione was dead in the Deparment of Mysteries in OotP because Antonin Dolohov's curse Harry couldn't function he didn't even think to check for a pulse. Neville had to do it for him and only when he was sure that Hermione was alive was he able to do anything. Hermione and Harry always are at eachothers sides much like Fry and Leela. Harry repects Hermione for who she is and Hermione vise versa. The don't see eachother as the Bookworm adn the Boy-Who-Lived like everyone else. They see each other has Harry and Hermione. Fry see's Leela as Leela and Leela is starting to see Fry as Fry. Fry has been earning more and more of Leela's repect through out the series. I don't think that Leela every really lost Fry's respect except maybe after she slept with Zapp but as far as I can thnik of that was the only time.

And on another off topic point that relates to some stuff metioned earlier: I always thought that there was something between Kirk, Spock and McCoy. Ignore the fact that I just got into Star Trek a month ago and an trying to watch Star Trek V at the moment...

Love's complicated.

Yes, that's all I can say.

P.S.: I love Fry's analysis on a long-term relationship. It's the most accurate fan material I've ever seen.

Archonix, that deserves a Matt Jefferies rating, at least.

Married life to a tee, obviously.  :D But two minor things...

Since when does Fry like sports more than Leela?

And...

Where the heck does she find the raw courage to wear his underpants?

Seriously, though, Archonix's art thread has some great (and slightly disturbing) stuff.   How'd you learn to draw the figures so uncannily accurately?

I spent a year looking at naked people.

By which I mean I attended life-drawing classes during my art foundation degree. And, also, my wife looks a bit like Leela might look with shorter legs and two eyes. And blonde hair.
