The DVD audio commentairies are great but also give away many great things to learn and cherish. So what things did you learn about Futurama and stories that you think were important or funny ect.

I learn't that the Nibbler bit in Ep. 1 was extremely important. The talking of secrets and the animatic clearly point to him being important as he was there very early on and not cut.

Curtis was originally fry's first name.  Leela was originally supposed to be 30.  Many of the voices were matched with the characters.  Tons of little errors were pointed out (mainly from people on the internet pointing them out and david cohen just restating them).  John DiMaggio is the only main actor who watches the show (not all from dvd; some from other sites, and how billy west stated some of the stuff).  Also his laugh is creepy, or at least exactly like benders.

A fish full of dollars originally used pop tarts.

Commentaries were probably done while they were making season 4.

Billy west has never watched the news; matt groening has never seen star trek; david cohen watches star trek probably a little too much.

Rough draft studios uses a coffee stain as a logo.

The nimbus is modeled off of a can of ham.

Hmm that is a few of the things learned.
