Ok. I went there and first thing I saw was a sh*tty pic of Leela on the RHS. Apart from another few (also) sh*tty pics, the rest said 'Leeched from...someplace'. So I lost patience and I posted. I was the one who corrupted coldy and introduced him to TTP's.  Granted, some art there is crappy, but other is very good.  The same can be said about TLZ or PEEL - some art is good and others can be crap-art.

As for people of all ages being able to find it via coldy's link, I promise you that 99% of PEEL knows all about TTP's and probably 85% visit it regularly.  When I first bought my Futurama DVD sets, I googled Futurama and it was the third site listed, behind CGEF and Futurama Madhouse.

As for TTP's and being shippy, the vast majority of art there is dedicated to showing Leela being very happy and satisfied. 

And coldy's art has been accepted there by not only the fans but by the admins - one who is a friend of mine and is very impressed with coldy's skill and talent.  I don't see any problem with erotica and I can promise you that even the youngsters on this board have seen far worse on the net than TTP's show.

Now I anxiously await more fiction and art from my favorite America-hating communist, Coldangel_1

So be it... Personally I have a problem mixing (cartoon or not) porn (and not only: extreme violence, drug use and so on) with other stuff without due prior warning. Not to mention legal aspects (at least here in Aust).

Of course I can ignore that aspect and don't go there - like I'm sure most that don't like it do - and happily go with the rest. It's (still) a question of choice. But come to think of it I'd have great reservations e.g. allowing my kids access to what seems to be a nice PEEL thread otherwise...maybe I'm just getting old and getting out of touch with the world ... blah-blah... out of topic..

I think Cohen confirmed a few years back that the youngest/dumbest of the three is actually Farnsworth's son, but I'll be damned if I can remember the interview he said it in.

Yeah, I saw that too. I'm puzzled by that decision to jump ahead two years, but I'm sure they have a good reason for that. Perhaps issues pertaining to the Fry/Leela relationship (which David X said would be examined prominently) might be looked at by way of flashback?

Umm two years? So they are probably together by now? That's not good. We want to see the point where they actually get together. Like the exact moment when we're on the edge of our seats and are like "Please! please! please!!!... YES!!!" If it's done in flashback, then we'll know how it turns out. Which might not be as good.

If it's done masterfully you will not have a CLUE until they tell you. E.g. they can show Fry & Leela in different places at the beginning acting normally for a while and then... BAM. Like Leela looking out the window on the PE Ship and thinking of how it all happened... or something.

They can do it really well.

Also I keep saying if they're married their marrigae will go through ups and downs just like their relationship - what's the freakin' difference ? Have you people (that say marriage will be boring) not read anything about married people that was exciting and interesting or tragic ? Give me a break. E.g. get married for a while and we'll talk afterwards.

On the surface it seems a monumentally shit idea to whitewash two years out of the show's continuum, but I have enough faith in the talented people behind Futurama to wait and see before I pass judgement. They've probably got something up their collective sleeves.
Whatever the case, I do hope we get coverage of the time in between, in flashbacks or whatever, rather than leaving it as a null zone...
OR, it could be this idea that a certain diabolical madman was kicking around -
