Fry's done a bunch of dumb things, but what do you thing was the most idiotic?

"Rosebud... Yes, Rosebud frozen peas. Full of country goodness and green pea-ness. ...wait, that's terrible. I quit! ...just a handful for the road. ...oh, what luck. There's a french fry stuck in my beard."

Forgetting to vote was pretty stupid, especially after all the trouble they went through.

No really i think that it was when he missed the launch button on 'a big piece of garbage'. The DVD agrees

Another dumb thing he did was in "The Problem With Popplers" when he chained himself to the revolving door.

Had he not mentioned Amy while trying to seduce Leela in "Parasite's Lost" then Leela most likely would have given him the chance to be romantic on his own.

Of the choices, I'll go with the vote thingy.

If he is serious about winning Leela's heart, the lovenasium thing in "Time Keeps On Slipping" was pretty stupid as well.

Becoming your own grandpa takes the cake, but I remember Fry taking off his space helmet to show off in front of Leela.

A shop teacher once told us, "what is it about guys that they want to impress girls by showing that they're LEARNED SOMETHING?"  laff

Gotta bee spilling beer and knocking FOX off the air. Knowing FOX, they will have rescheduled Futurama during that time, so that the episode for that week would've been aired during that period of downtime.

Out of the list above, I'd say becoming his own grandpa.

But I think having sex with a radiator is worse.   eek

I changed my mind, I'm agreeing with ^ now on that second point.  Missing the button was just clumsy.  Making love to a radiator, that's just stupidity.

His dumbness must have shone through in Parasites lost or something cause if he was so smart the best thing to have done woulda been to 'pretend' to have gotten rid of the worms and then if leela kicked him out at least he would still have been smart/strong etc

So that was the dumbest thing he did, getting rid of the worms

Not being able to tell the difference between a 4-legged mimic and Leela has to be on the list too.

I thought Fry's reasons for dumping Amy were perfectly valid. The stupidest thing he ever did was pouring breakfast cereal and milk on his head to prove how inpulsive he can be in AOI 1

I would have said becoming his own grandfather, but I think that was intended to happen through history and contrived sci-fi storytelling anyway.

I think joining the army and pontentially getting killed because he wanted a small discount on gum made from a pig is pretty goddamn stupid.

Also from AOI

I disagree If Leela didn't want him, then What reason would he have to keep them. He wants Leela to love him, not the worms.

Unfortunetly I can't vote because I haven't seen most of the episodes yet... *sniffle*

Doing the radiator has to be pretty low, but getting rid of the worms was stoopid!
He had it made with those parasites, Leela wouldn't love the worms (bleh!), she would love what the worms made Fry into, a better Fry. It was still him, he just had a little help.  no no
