In the episode, "A Fishful of Dollars" Fry bought himself video tapes of old sit-coms.  Then in "When Aliens Attack" it was mentioned that "All video tapes from that era have been destroyed in (forgot the year) during the Second Coming of Jesus."

Question is, how was Fry able to get those videos of old sitcoms?

Most video tapes were destroyed, not all. Jesus can only do so much.

Some desperate people might have hidden them, hoping for them to gain value in the future.

Most were "damaged", not destoryed.  Therefore, perhaps some survived and were eventually put up at auction.

You know, Kurt, you're really not helping disprove the whole "Kurt has some sort of learning disability" theory I've got going.  First off, human resources =/= weird scenes.  Second, it was long since decided on Wooter and jensor's explanations.
