Or the same non-mistake, as it turns out.

For the record (and having not read the pre-2010 posts) I do not feel that it is wrong to find Leela sexy. She is just an image after all and people go ga-ga over images all the time.

That's like saying Jessica Rabbit is Olive Oyl.

Olive Oyl is sexy to those who have foot fetish.

I too love them curves on Leela.

There are many female cartoon sex symbols. As Jessica Rabbit put it
"I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way." People draw women sexy intentionally. Its meant to arouse or make you at least blush and its DEFINITELY meant to make you ask "IS IT WRONG TO FIND LEELA SEXY?" It also helps real women identify more with the characters since most women have curves and are not bean poles like Olive Oyl.

Some cartoons are sexy to compliment some other kind of personality trait, particularly villains.

The first cartoon sex symbol I can think of is Betty Boop. Her shorts were quite scandalous at the time.

I stand corrected.

It takes a big Aussie to say that.  I am in love with Leela in the sense she reminds me of many of my old loves--I love the idea of her--but I am not turned on by her per se:  lthough there may have been a few El-man's Leelas I took into the bathroom with me.

All caps are not, nor will they ever be, cruise control for cool.

While I agree, I think you can be too pure.  In this instance the caps were used by FemJesse for clarifying emphasis much like italics would be.  Italic is harder to use--at least for me--than caps.

I's say there is nothing wrong with it as long as it doesn't actually interfere with your real life love life.

Personally, I find Homer Simpson quite hot. I do keep it a secret though, don't want my BF to find an excuse to sit on his butt all day and drink beer  :D

For the record, I'm not an Aussie. While there are denizens of the West Island here, I'm not one.

On-Topic: I find Leela attractive, and Amy to a lesser extent. If I had any skill at all, I'd end up dabbling in *that* sort of drawing, I imagine. Ah well.

Sure she is drawn sexy, but I don't care if it is cartoon or live-action; a character is a character.  I find Leela's character very attractive, visually and otherwise.
