Whenever Bender is sleeping, he always sees 0's and 1's.  How come when he sees a '2' he gets scared and considers it a 'nightmare'?

Isn't it obvious? Bender is a robot that is familiar with the binary system, which consists of 0's and 1's. So if a digit that is not a 0 or 1 appears in Bender's dreams, it's something he may not be familiar with. So he's scared, because it could be a virus or something.
