Fry is just a man. Like every other heterosexual man he wants to have sex with as many women as possible.  He took it a little too far with his grandmother, but I still don't think he is a sexopath. Just a normal man who is his own grandfather.

What is a sexopath? Too much is already called sexual addiction or nyphomania. Not enough is usually called normal. Fry gets less than Amy but more than Leela. So is it someone who gets confused while doing it?

And sex is one way to get people to watch the network show who might not be interested in sci-fi cartoons. From what I've seen of the comic books not much happens there. May be worthy of a new thread. Do you think direct-to-DVD movies will be more riske or less? Preferences?

Fact: People would rather pay 7 dollars for a movie ticket than 20-30 dollars for a DVD. And I'm guessing that the DVD will be about 30 dollars because that's about as much as the Family Guy movie is going for.

Actually, except for Star Wars nobody is going to the movies. They rent the DVD's and watch on home entertainment systems. The movie theaters are hurting bad.

I wouldn't pay $30 for a DVD movie, even a Futurama movie. However, you can always find discounts of some sort. Unless it’s a Matinee, movies cost $9 where I'm at, but at least the theatres have minimal advertising (Just the coming attractions).

I thought this thread was about Fry being a sexopath    He seems more like an ordinary guy to me.

Futz is right. I read in an Entertainment Weekly artical that moral majority of movie-goers don't go to the movies, they wait till DVD and rent then. And I am one of those people. Although I did see Star Wars in theaters.

Nobody's going to the movies because News Flash: All the movies out lately suck balls.

There's nothing worth seeing anymore. People would rather wait until these crappy movies are out on DVD. All if it's the same stuff over and over again and people are finally starting to get tired of it.

Seems that way.  I don't remember nymphs in Greek mythology being being all that horny, though.  Usually nymphs were being chased after by some horny god or mortal, not the other way around.
