Sean Connery as Scruffy would be hilarious, especially if his only line in the whole film was "I'm Scruffy. The Janitor." I would KILL to hear him say that.

No, I don't really see Sean William Scott as Fry.  On the other hand, if they were doing a live-action version of "I, Meatbag" he'd make a great human Bender.

I'd imagine if they had the Robot Devil at all, he would be Computer Generated.

Maybe, I just can't see CGI working well with the feel of the show, but then of course, non-CGI would look awful. One of the many reasons I think Futurama just isn't suitable for live action.

Leela would need a CGI...eye.
Seth Green does seem to be a good Fry.

davis a is right on the money with kif, however i dont think it would work, it would lose the fantasy of the cartoon world, the complete impossibility of things that only cartoons can have.

Yeah I just can't see cgi really working either...  I mean imagine computer generated zoidberg, or even worse Bender.

Then again them dressing up in suits wouldn't look that much better either... Although the people in X-Men looked quite impressive without cgi.

I think a cartoon movie is gonna come out way before any live action one anyways.

I'm not sure if a cartoon Futurama movie will ever come out but I really hope it will. But I think I speak for every one when I say that no one wants a live action Futurama movie, and we're just speaking hypothetically, or at least I know I am.

And am I the only one who thinks Katey Segal would work for Leela? I really think she could do it, maybe need work on kicking people's asses but she's got the same body and additude, and does Leela's voice, so she would be good.

Cristopher Lloyd is by far one of the best calls for The Professor.
Or maybe Harry Shearer.
How's about Albert Brooks as Zoidberg?
or maybe Len Lesser (Uncle Leo from Seinfeld) or Wayne Knight?
And as long as I'm casting Seifeld actors into Futurama roles...
John O'Hurley as Zapp?

Here's an even spookier idea:
Cast the characters from the Simpsons
as the characters from Fututama,
The Duff Beer Guy as Zapp...

No, pick someone young...so he has that pep that only Professie can have...I think Will Ferral can do no wrong. If we have to pick a Zoidy, Hank Azaria. He does his share of live action stuff (Lunch, go see The Birdcage NOW). And I want to see Nicole Kidman run around in stretch pants as Leela. My only objection to Katey Sagal is that's she's a little too old to pass as a 20-something kung fu chick. Although she looks pretty damn good for 50...
Fry, maybe Seth Green, although I think the lead kid from That 70's show could do it (hell, take the WHOLE cast)
