Futurama: Live Action: The Leela Poll

Now before I can say other besides Angelina Jolie I need to see some of the other contestaints.

I voted for Kristin Johnston.  I like Jeri Ryan as 7 of 9 but I can't honestly picture her as Leela.

My current choices are Angelina Jolie otherwise Uma Thurman but she's not up there so Angelina it is.

As I said earlier I think both Helen Hunt, Kristen Johnston and Jeri Ryan would be great for the part of Leela. ... I'll need three votes for this one.

Helen Hunt or simply watch "Twister".

Kristen Johnston or simply watch any episode of "Third Rock From The Sun"

Jeri Ryan, Jeri Ryan 2 or simply watch any V'Ger episode from season 4 and onwards (preferably a good one  @CK).

Although i absolutely detest the idea of a live action Futurama movie. Based soley on who i think could fit the part i think i'd pick Jeri Ryan.

You know what would be kinda cool?  If someone had the time and inclination to photoshop some of these women to look like Leela.  Same goes for the Fry poll as well.  Hmm, maybe if I ever get some spare time I can do one.....

Ths was actually main thing AGAINST the live action. Well, not who would play her, but much more, how would she look like.

Jeri Ryan has the curves and lips to pull off Leela.

She's also used to acting with chunky eye makeup...

Off the top of my head I was going to say Angelina Jolie, due to her real life ass-kicking abilities, but then everybody (not on this forum) would compare Leela to Lara, so no to that.
Helen Hunt kinda looks like Leela in "Twister", but... + she's 41! (I'm surprised) And Leela claims to be 25ish..

Sorry, but these women all seem to be a bit on the old side...

She's 22, which puts her a lot closer to Leela's age than any of the others.  Besides, if you want her to be Leela's age, all you have to do is wait a few years.  You can't do that with any of the others.

It doesn't really matter, though.  No matter who you got to play a live action Leela, she'd just end up looking like Bernard Bresslaw's character from Krull anyway.

Ok I'll give this thread another week before the finals come up. And just so I have a better veiw, anyone want to try and make Jeri Ryan look like Leela? I'll leave it up to you.
