Personally I think that if they got married it would only make it official. I mean looking back on all the stuff they've done together (minus any sex) they act like they're married. Welcome to PEEL!

What, so just the arguing then    ?

I think Fry and Leela would have made a great couple...but only for the short term. Fry just has too many qualities which would annoy Leela, such as his incredible laziness! 
I wonder what their kids would have looked like...?

Well, let's face it: However sweet Fry may appear to the audience (including me), he`s not too much of a gentleman. Besides that, I think he and Leela just missed their chance. As you might have noticed, during the first season Leela was willing to try on ANYBODY, but Fry was not interested.Also- in later episodes-he made clear (by saying so AND by performing), that he was not the man for a long-lasting relationship. Actually, his main interest was rather fixed on experiences of the horizontal kind ;-) So, even though he changed his mind in the laaate episodes,you have to admit Leela HAS reasons for being suspicious.Thoug it's a pity

I think something similar has been done before but yeah they are. Oh as I read this thread later than the other one I understand now, well it is likely one of them might get close.
