Nothing, it was "Shove a bastard in it you crap!" which of course makes complete sense.

The Independent Party candidates sure are hot this year. Maybe one of the hottest presidents. Although that Taft sure was a looker...

I'll vote for the Evil Party. At least you can always rely on them. To be evil that is.

Perhaps a late sympathy vote for Zoiberg, because he's so "thuper."
Question, what's with Mom's lack of running partner? Wouldn't it make her look better to be teamed up with someone as sweet and loveable as she is (in public, anyway)? I nominate Wernstrom.

MOM doesn't have the patience for a runningmate.  Also, she wins anyway if the Republicans or the Evil Party win.

The Green party is so radical in real life is makes Democrats look like Republicans.

Why are there different choices for Green Party and Independent anyway? Isn't the Green Party an Independent party?

No, the Green Party is a party. There is no Independent Party, that's the point of being independent. It's separate from party politics.

This poll is a great idea!

I voted for Bender / Fry.  I guess Leela could be hired as the National Security Advisor, since she pretty much kicks anybody's ass.  But if I could cheat, I'd vote once for Bender/Fry, and once for Leela/Amy.

This is the only partisan national election in history where that makes sense.

I just realized something though...if I'm running this like an American election, and no one has a majority, the House of Representatives gets to pick the winner.  The question is who's the House of Representatives for this poll?

POLLS NOW CLOSE AT 3:00am Eastern Standard Time (that's 2am real time and midnight poser Californian time.)  I'll be out drinking until around then, so I won't be able to tally until I get home.

Alright, apologies for the double post, but I figure I'd better give the official results.

Top 3:
Turanga Leela and Amy Wong (I): 41% of the vote
Bender B. Rodriguez and Philip J. Fry (D): 28% of the vote
Richard M. Nixon and The Robot Devil (E): 8% of the vote

I so wanted to just declare the Evil Party the winners.  I mean, evil always wins in politics.  But I just couldn't do that to my favorite character.  Also, I can repost this picture:

VICTORY FOR PRESIDENT TURANGA LEELA AND VICE PRESIDENT AMY WONG!

Mods, feel free to lock this around Friday, or when people stop posting.  I don't want newbs to bump this.  I'll now have to associate this with unpleasant memories...

Well, too bad we seem to be ignoring any votes we get late in this country.  Even legally cast provisional and absentee ballots.  Also, every time this thread gets bumped, some bastard puts another one right over it *mind boggles at ooy's inconsistency*.

In conclusion: Please lockinate, oh masters of the banstick.
