Pick your favorite minor character, por favor. And expound on the topic of why he/she/it has captured your attention.

I'm assuming by "minor" character you don't mean someone like Kif or Zapp.

Robot Peace Officer = URL
Fat Lazy Guy in Tanktop = Sal
Female newscaster = Linda

Anyway, I choose Morbo, because I sense great potential behind his character.  I'm just imagining an episode where his race really does invade Earth . . .

Nixon, now there's a president who doesn't cover anything. Hope he'll finally have an episode in which we see him act as Earth President, and not just as ahead in a jar.

Yeah, Elzar was my choice too. He's a springboard for some good episodes and has funny parts, like beating an enraged slug in the head, tickling bender with a mixer, etc.

But there are other great characters too, like the Brain Slugs. They may be slimy alien parasites, but they're cool.

H.G.Blob gets my vote, he's in nearly every episode if you look closely like on that chess board at the beggining of "Branigon Begin Again"

It was a toss-up between Scruffy and Morbo. I do like Morbo, but Scruffy is just such a role model. He's lazy, reads pornography, and gets paid for it. You can't beat a Scruffy lifestyle.

I like his Poppler appearance the best.

I think my favorite character is Scruffy though. He hasn't really done anything, but there's something unmistakably sexy about him.

Scruffy and Sal just seem like one-bit characters.  I really can't see them becoming anything other than cliches of themselves.  Gotta go with Morbo.

You're kidding...Morbo is cool, but really it's the same joke every time. "blah blah blah...I will destroy the human race!" Sal allows for some variation(sometimes he's a tough guy, sometimes he's just a lonely slob). Scruffy hasn't really developed as a character yet, but I'd say his potential for laughs is higher than Morbo's.

Sal=Scruffy.

That's my problem with those two.  That and the fact that they can only support a few site gags, and site gags get really old really fast.  Sal and Scruffy are the perfect people for their jobs.  Lazy, ill-mannered slobs doing jobs we whimsically associate with lazy, ill-mannered slobs.

Morbo's utter contempt for humanity makes him the ultimate wrong monster for his job of delivering sappy, humanitarian, non-news dribble.  "Vermin of the Week"...that's why Morbo's great, he's Tom Tucker mixed with Skynet in a gooey green shell.

Not woting for scruffy is an insult to me... Scruffy just hangs around in Planet Express and does nothing, my kind of guy    , and that when he appears he always one of the best parts of the whole episode.

I'd think that Kif is a minor character, even though some stories focus around him (Brannigan Begin Again comes to mind).  So therefore I voted for my all time hero, KIF KROKER!  WOOO!
