Yancy's age

Does anyone know how old Yancy was when Fry was born,I'm not sure if they ever said in one of the episodes.

Thanks to anyone who can tell me.

Yancy's definitely around three years older than Fry.  He was definitely an older two or younger-to-middling three year old in the first scene.

I think Yancy was about 3-4 when Fry was born. Just guessing.

Yancy is about 4 years older which means he's in his early 30's

Yancy and Fry fight a lot. I've heard studies that say the three year age gap is when siblings fight the most, so there's my guess. Trust me, I'm 17 and I have a 14 year old sister, we don't see eye to eye on anything.

I would say Yancy is three years older than Fry.
And LampIncident I can relate.  I have a younger sister who used to idolize me, and now she hates my guts.  Plus, she's jealous of me.  And we're about three year apart.

Really? Me and my brother are three years apart and we don't fight at all.

There was this special feature on season 3 with the new character gallery, and it said that Yancy is two years older than Fry.

Yancy was born in 1971. Fry was born in 1974. That makes three years older.

That wouldn't necessarily make Yancy a full three years older.  When in their respective years were they born?
