Whats the deal with TUESDAY on futurama? I'll just give a FEW examples of the many that are present:

"Quick, to the headmuseum, its free on tuesdays" (Bender in Spacepilot 3000)
"I'm as frisky as a squid on tuesdays" (Zoidberg in Why must I be a Crustacian in Love?)
"I's two for one tuesday at crispy cream" (Fry in Deep South)
and so on, there's heaps more but that's all i can remember for now - whenever something's connected to a weekday its tuesday

perhaps you could make that a references list? =)

Oh yeah, I know why... Because Tuesday is "Da Boom" Haha, I would always see that and think "How lame, 'da boom'? That's gotta be the lamest title for a night of comedy." Actually I think it's because the universe was created on a Tuesday, and because the first day of the year 3000 is a Tuesday, and maybe even the world will end on a Tuesday... well one can only hope. What's today? I don't know I forgot. Anyway that's my two cents.

I saw a It's Da Boom sign on the entrance to Past-O-Rama.

It's because they could never get the hang of Thursdays, so they used Tuesdays instead.

How's that for an obscure reference?

Seriously though, if Futurama was still playing on Tuesdays, it would have made more sense. They timeslot changed but they had to stick with the jokes because the episode was probably already made. That's sounds reasonable to me. Than again, it's just me.

I've noticed a similar sequence on the Simpsons involving LEFT-
"I've lost all feeling in the LEFT side of my body."
"Bet your LEFT arm's tingling too."
"My LEFT arm says different."

Maybe Matt Groening puts these sort of sequenses in on purpose, so we can notce them . Just a thought.
