I've just seen I second that emotion and there are few tiny things that bug me. It might have been said before but I couldn't find it on search.

1. The emotion chip has a lag depends on the joke. At one moment when the mutant appear Leela screams, and after a few seconds the chip beeps and only then Bender gets scared. A frame later they both raise their arms for defence in the same time. I know you're going to say that its probably the technology and all, but it bugs me.

2. Bender said "The first thing I had to do is to get the toilet seat up, that was the first annoyance, am I right men?". Then, when he tries to flush himself down the toilet he says "What did these humans design it for, anyway?". There is some incoherence here.

3. Why is the toilet suddenly moved near the TV room? That door supposed to lead to the lobby!

4. This bugs me the most - Leela's mother got tentacles as arms. But when she appears during the song of Elchupenibre, she has normal arms. So, huh?

It's most likely related to Bender's emotional state. At first Bender is calm, so the initial "scare impulse" takes a few seconds to change Bender's emotional state. After that he's already scared, so subsequent impulses are processed much faster.

Not really. Bender is lazy and selfish, for him it's an insult he have to do something before he can flush Nibbler and he ask his fellow males for their support in protesting this grave injustice.

They changed her (and Morris') appearence, in order to make them more mutated than Leela, otherwise the "least mutated mutant"-thing wouldn't hold up. In show explanation: continued mutation.

A search for "I Second That Emotion" give 9 threads, these are the most interesting:
S2E1 I Second That Emotion
Leela's Mother and Father? (I Second That Emotion)

I'm sure that Bender has heard Amy and Leela complain when someone has left the toilet seat up.  He's probably even heard Fry complain when Amy and Leela leave the seat down.  So Bender knows that women leave the seat down and men leave it up.  On the other hand, they probably don't talk about exactly what they do in there, so Bender might still not know exactly what the toilet is for.

That can't be right. Otherwise, when she was a baby they would also be "Least mutated" and go up to the surface.

Because you touch yourself at night.

I am not getting involved in another discussion about Leela's parents and why they (and other mutants) look different in later episodes.  The animators changed the character designs.  End of story.  Just pretend that they always looked that way.

They Changed her appearence for "Leela's Homeworld", or she just slips on fake arms, that's what DXC said in "LH"'s Commentary.

It's possible they have more than one bathroom...

I wouldn't want to live in a place where lobbies randomly change into toilets....

I dunno.  It'd be handy if you were in the lobby and had to go really bad.
