Well Bender DOES sing in Bendin in the Wind when he gets stuck to the can opener! Explain that!

The magnet didn't hold properly. He was able to detach himself from it in this episode, yet he wasn't able to in bendin in the wind because the magnet had a tighter hold.
It made sense in my head
