Questions about 'A Flight to Remember'

First post here, so I apologize if these questions have been answered before.
 
Just wondering why Countess De La Roca has round pupils instead of square ones?

And in this episode, Amy's parents were the ones who suggested Kif as a suitor. So what happened between this episode and 'Where the Buggalo Roam' for the Wongs to become so unreceptive towards Kif?

Prehaps the manufacturers of the more clasy Countess decided the deluxe model should be more human in features

Also the Wongs are concerned that Kifs offspring wont be strong and man like. Plus they know he is not actualy a captain now

Round pupils? I neve notice that, if that's true then I have no idea.
As for Kif, this was well explained by someone else on this forum. (but I can't remember who, sorry) Basically, Amy's parents remember introducing her to a Captain which Kif was at the time, but when his old job Amy's parents didn't recognise him. Hope this answers your question.

Both answers were much appreciated! I figured just as much about the Kif/Wongs situation, but wanted to hear the opinions of others.

As for the Countess -- not only are her pupils round but they're a different colour as well!

In AFTR, the whole Kif+Amy thing was just a joke, only later the writers realized that this was actually a good idea...

well i think a flight to remember was before matt and everyone decided that all robots had ot have square pupils, mabye shes a human in diguise (think of her lying about her braclet that may not be all shes lying about) or wizards and for those who dont like the wizards joke i have something for you

The problem with that story is that the whole Amy/Kif relationship is a horrible idea.

Maybe the countess is so rich that she had metal surgery to make her pupils round. It was all the rage at the time.

They also said he was to squishy - lol - kif is cute!  I think fry should keep chasing leela and amy should hook up with zap at least once ;p
