If Atlanta was a long lost city, then how did Hank Aaron's descendant play for the  Atlanta Braves!!! did they restart the Braves on land after being rediscovered, or is this a major plot hole?
Zoidberg seems to make reference to the fact that the Braves are a known team, yet Atlanta is supposed to be long lost...
Or finally, is there a New Atlanta like NNY?

If his Atlanta Braves jersey is anything to go by he played after Atlanta hit rock bottom (the trident in place of the tomahawk).

At the very least Atlanta had a blernsball team after becoming a submerged city. Maybe they entered after the PE crew discovered the city.

According to that video narrated by Donovan, the original Hank Aaron was one of the people who left Atlanta right before it sank, and he still had his body at the time, so I would imagine it's supposed to have sunk sometime in the 21st century.  So I don't think Hank Aaron XXI could have ever played in Atlanta itself, since he's not a merman.  I would imagine that the 31st century Braves no longer play in Atlanta itself, but they use the trident to symbolize the city where they used to play.

Come to think of it, does anyone actually refer to the "Atlanta Braves" in ALOHO?  I think Hank Aaron XXI's jersey just says "Braves."  Is it that unlikely that the team would have moved within 1000 years and a shift from baseball to blernsball?

It also showed the founder of Coca-Cola with HIS original body, so I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that video is not 100% accurate.

1. Atlanta moves to an island.
2. The Braves change their logo to a trident, to reflect their affiliation with the sea.
3. Baseball is jazzed up, blernsball is born.
4. Atlanta sinks, New Atlanta is founded.
5. Hank Aaron the 20-whatevereth plays, is blowful.

It's a tourist movie made by the Chamber of Commerce, naturally it'll contain exagerations and a liberal interpretation of facts.
