What do you mean by Whistamajig? Do you mean her Wrist-lo-jack-a-mator becuase it is on in that shot unless the shot you gave us was  the one where it was on.

Apart from its many other abilities, the Wrist-lo-jack-a-mator has the ability to turn invisible for a short period of time, and at random.

I'm hoping you just missed the point of my link there.  LoJack is a tracking service.  Of stolen cars, but that's not the point.  Leela's wrist thingy does a lot more stuff than just tracking.
