A few. And here are some more.

It does look a bit like Bart's legs behind Fry, but since Simpsons are fictional characters in the Futurama universe it can't be Bart himself (unless he was the result of some freak genetic experiment). But it could be one of those freeze frame jokes Futurama is overflowing with.

Welcomes to PEELs, Sal. Enjoys it heres.

DXC said in a commentary that the Simpsons would appear in Futurama as a television show, not a parallel setting. That's why they only appear as toys and such.
although that's not the case vice-versa...

Just to show this Bart-leg stuff visually, this is probably the scene that you're talking about...but when I was looking for that scene I saw this thing. Now look up in the top left corner, if you compare that part of that person you can see, skin color and style of clothing then it maes sense. Same color, wearing a dress (I guess) explaining the bare legs, the color of the shoes and the dress come out nicely as well. Comments?

Another Simpsons character appearance is ol' Blinky in Space Pilot 3000. That was a nice little joke.

In Xmas Story, there was a one-eared-rabbit in the pet shop. Wasn't there one in the Simpsons?

That is another Groening character from a comic. I think he was in the Simpsons once also.

His name is Bongo (I think), and he is from Groening's comic Life In Hell.

He was one of Groanings first characters. I think he was going to create a progamme for him but decided it was to weak or something like that.

Making a "Life In Hell" tv show would probably involve signing over some rights to a network, and after the experience with Simpsons and Futurama I think Groening would b every hesitant to do anything that could harm his (from what I hear) favorite creation.

I read was that when Groening was approched for The Tracy Ullman Show, they wanted him to animated shorts featuring the Life In Hell characters. However, because Fox was still kicking themselves over letting George Lucas keep the rights for the Star Wars characters, they insisted Matt let them have the rights for Life In Hell.  Matt was relectunt to do that, and instead created The Simpsons for Fox.

cool story. i bet groening would rather die than give up the rights for life in hell. wonder what THAT show would be like. Rabbit hole gags, bunny baby sayings, and Bongo getting in trouble with the teacher all the time.

IF YOU LOOK CLOSLY AT AN EARLY CONSPECT DRAWING OF THE FUTURAMA WORLD IN A SPECIAL FEATURE IN SEASON 1 YOU SEE HOMERS HEAD IN FRONT OF THE SRCEEN

Hang on, if Homer's head is in front of the screen, does that mean his head's floating in the middle of my living room?

I was watching an episode of the SImpsons the other day, and this is the one where that new employee goes insane cuase Homer is a slob but gets away with it and he doesn't. Anyway where Homer enters that compitition and shows his model of the power plant there was a new gree stripe along thetower thingy. I'm asuming Matt or David like green stipes (hence AOI 1).

That's more of jokes seen in both material than simpsons appearances material...

While I am in this topic... leelaholic: in a (now closed) thread, you mentioned that Fry appeared at the fair in Saddlesore Galactica... but I wasn't able to see him when I last watched that episode... would you mind being more specific (I'm directing this at leelaholic because I've never seen anybody else mention this appearance, but if anyone can answer, please do).

edit: Whoops, this thread is for simpsons appearances on Futurama, not Futurama appearances on the Simpsons... Oh, well...

Its not an actual simpsons character but in mars university at the end parade there is a character in the back ground that looks like a thin comic book shop guy.

Ranadok: At the fair, when OFF first pick up Duncan, Fry is leaning against a fence in the background.

The closest that I can see is a guy who is leaning against a booth facing away from the camera while Marge and Homer walk towards the horse (just before the horse actually appears). This guy has hair that looks kind of Fry-ish (with the two prongs in front), but they are swept down instead of up, and his hair is definitely brown instead of red.  Is this the one you are referring to? I can't see anything else in that scene that could be Fry, unless it was a syndication cut or something.
