Hi, my first post here.

I watched 4ACV09, Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles last night. Anyone notice that during the scene at Amy's house, Spirit, the pony Amy always wanted but couldn't get because her parents said she had too many ponies already, is in her room.

Is it the same pony though? Amy did remark on her having a lot of other ponies already.

"Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles" comes after "Kif Gets Knocked Up a Notch".  Amy's parents may have bought her Spirit between the two episodes, or like Otis says, Amy might have bought Spirit herself.

Or Bushmeister's right and it's a different pony.  I wasn't paying that much attention.  Either way it's case closed.

Or the pony came to life when the holoroom malfunctioned and wasn't thrown from the ship in explosive decompression like the bad guys were, because good guys are always saved.

Maybe Farnsworth cloned Spirit for Amy, or maybe it was a hologram, or maybe, just maybe...

maybe he cloned two hologram parents for the pony, tracing their dna paths and forseing what kind of offspring they would create. so then when the pony was born he took the hollogram and then made a clone of it! thus relating in a real horse. Yes, that must be it.

Maybe Spirit was the second pony in a matching set, and that's why Amy always wanted it, to complete the collection.
