Post things that you think fans wouldn't have seen during watching, they can be absolutely pointless, but they can only be from season 1 or the intro.

Here's mine, on the intro, on the second or first bit where the camera stops moving (i'm not sure which), there is  sign to the upper-left of the screen by a building saying "Sexator"

The Sexatorium?  That's in all the intros.

In the intro, after 16 seconds, there's a yellow sign with alien language written on it. Has anyone managed to translate that? I've made out the first two words, but it's to blury to make out the rest.

If it's the one i think you mean, it says "Tasty Human Burgers"

And when I say the intro I mean the intro from all the seasons, it doesn't change, does it?

Well, TheComic. If you have decoded the two first words, then you must be able to tell if they're "tasty" and "human". If so, then Fryday gave you the answer. It's that easy it is.

Can someone tell me which episodes have the variations on the theme, the only ones i've heard on an episode has been the martian mix from Mars University.

That'd be "Spanish Fry" with Billy West and John DiMaggio rapping, and "Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV" with Billy and John doing a sort of beatbox theme.

On Spanish Fry they're kinda doing the entire theme by themselves. On BSNBAOTV, they're more just adding vocal effects over the top of the actual theme.

"Stray but a little, and it may fall" Wandering a little off the topic, are we? And I thought this had been done. But suit yourselves.

In "SP 3000" you can see Nibbler's shadow when Fry's chair tips over.  "The Why of Fry" explains what really happened on Dec. 31, 1999.

Whoa. I have never heard that before. You'd expect us to know about it already, seeing as this is a 3000+ member Futurama fansite, but looks like you caught us with our pants down. Too bad they don't mention this sort of thing in the DVD commentaries!

Good work, bonjour.  :nono:

Yeah, you'd expect us to know about it; but bonjour just got here, and not everyone has heard the DVD commentaries.  I wouldn't know about Nibbler's shadow if I hadn't read about it on PEEL.

Welcome to PEEL, bonjour.   :D  Enjoy your stay, and don't mind Lan.  He usually isn't such a jerk.

Aw, I'm not being a jerk. Do we have to use [sarcasm] tags in every post now? Besides, I'm sure bonjour can take it. *claps bonjour on the back*

Here, I'll even be helpful: whether you're starting a thread or posting about some new find you've made, it doesn't hurt to do a little poking around to see if it's already been covered. If the 'search' function doesn't turn up anything (and it usually doesn't), at least you can say you made the effort.  :)

I noticed that on each different episode, you know, on that large screen,in the intro, there's always an image or something as a hint to what the episode is about. I think it's a signature thing Matt Groening(sp?) does in his cartoons, like the simpsons where they always sit at the couch differently.

I never really saw those cartoon clips in the intro as connected to the episode at all, unless someone can say otherwise? The only episode in which I noticed any connection was Xmas Story.

Well I'm almost positive that there is no connection between the cartoons in the beggining and the episode.

But while the little cartoon is showing on the screen  and the ship runs into the screen there is a bilboard under the screen that reads "DefCon Owl Traps: Kills Owls Dead"

Wow, my first post and it already got noticed!

I haven't seen the DVDs, so I don't know if the shadow incident is mentioned.  I noticed it when I watched SP 3000 at midnight on New Year's.

Thanks for the welcome Lan & David.

One thing I noticed in the first season, in 'Hell is other Robots' when Beezlebot is playing the fiddle and being beaten over the head with a fiddle he appears to blink like Bender, (ie black empty sockets with slit showing where his eyes were), yet when Leela drops the fiddle on him, he actually blinks with eyelids. Just noticed that when I was watching it, so don't call me neurotic.
