Hey, does anybody know where a key to the 2nd Alien Language is? Also, how do i put pictures in my posts? I'm working out the code by myself but it would be easier with help...

I could gather all the characters I've seen but I wouldn't be able to tell you which represents what.

Anyway, I believe that I have found a key to the language, or at least one of them. It is from I Dated A Robot, and its the picture of the Space Pope... theres words on top and Alien Language on the Bottom... The number of "letters on top and bottom match, so i think it could say the same thing, therefore, I have some of the letters figured out! Its a great shot too...

Haha, I pity you, much as I pitied myself after trying the SAME thing the other day and only to realize that when there were two of the same letters (i.e., crOcO) the alien alphabet did not show two of the same letters, I tried every permutation I could think of but couldn't make a match.  Keep tryin though, it's the only way to figure it out.

The Second Alien Language is very different from the first. You can not translate it directly to alphabetical characters, you have to do some calculations first.

Using my AL2 decoder program for Casio calculators, I have decoded the first five letters from I Dated A Robot to "CROCO". I cannot decode the rest because there are several new characters that is not identified yet. Give me a day or two, and I'll figure it out. Most likely, the full translation is "Crocodylus pontifex" like Chump thought. You can download the AL2 decoder from KFNF if you have a Casio graphical calculator. You can read about how to decode it manually (if you know Norwegian) I'll translate it to English in a couple of days. You can also ask Marc, he knows how to decode AL2.

Ladies and gentlemen: This is the moment you've all been waiting for. I've translated my "How to decode AL2" guide to English.

Visit KFNF, click on "English" then "Alien alphabet 2"

Please be prepared for some bad grammar and spelling, remember I'm Norwegian.

Prepare to be educated! Enjoy!

Sweet!
Anyway, that page got lost in the shuffle. But the pic is from My Three Suns. On the post next to AL1 is a wierd language. I think the last character is AL2 I've seen before. The rest of the characters are new but they could be the missing links.
I still have the pic on my site, but its now in the "In the Show" Section, season one, then select the title.

-= New AL2 sighting =-

In I dated a Robot, when Fry and Leela are logging on to the 'net, there is a word on Farnsworth's computer screen. I translated it, but I won't say it here (so you guys can have the fun of figuring it out yourselves... (yes, you too Chump...))
