Hokay:

When Bender and Fry are in the liquor store, there's a bottle of "Klein's" in a strangely shaped bottle, sort of a tear-drop shape with a with a long drooping spout.

Is there significance to this, or is it just a weird bottle?

The bottle is called a Kleins Bottle. A Klein-bottle is is based on Möbius loops (one-dimensional surfaces), and is a two-dimensional manifold. It's a bit difficult to describe in lay man's terms, but this site has excellent information about Klein bottles.

The joke is that Klein bottles can't exist in our 3-dimensionel universe (they need four dimensions), but in the future they apparently found a way to produce them.

Ah, I see

Just checked the Klein bottle site . . .
I think a few bottles (o.k. a LOT of bottles) of Lowbrau are definitely in order!

That is totally wickedly cool... so you can actually do math on these things, and envision them as objects, but they're impossible to create because of our inferior way of seeing dimensions.

I've alway wondered if there is a race somewhere in the universe that has totally different views upon EVERYTHING, and that their architecture, math, etc. would be completely impossible to comprehend for human beings and vice versa. Every attempt at imagining this has been in vain.

[EDIT]You can actually create the effect of the bottle in many map editors for games. (in UnrealEd it can be done with some talented warp-zoning)[/EDIT]
