I noticed that in the beginning of every episode, where it shows all of the signs such as the Def-Con Owl Traps (What is "Def-Con" anyway?) it shows a sign in alien language in the top right, a little before the ship crashes into the big TV. What's the sign say? I've tried to decode it but I can't seem to get it....

I'm not sure which sign you mean but try this at The Leela Zone:

edit: I think def-con is some state of alert in the american military.

edit2: Targus have a range of laptop security devices called Defcon.

It says "Tasty human burgers".

Def-Con is a reference to "Defense Condition", a term used to describe the state of readiness in the American military. Def-Con 5 is normal, Def-Con 1 is full-scale nuclear war. As seen in the movie "War Games".

Def-con is like D-Con, a brand of rat poison etc. in the US.
