I went looking for this thread because I found something else, but I didn't find one, so here it is. If there is one sorry! But I did use the search.

In the crowd, the alien in the top left corner is the same as one from the countdown to the Year 3000 in SP3K.

Great eye! I wonder how many other little secrets there are like this?

Also in that top screen shot, the girl three from the right on the top row looks a bit like Chrissy...

It all came about because I did a scan of the alien from SP3K and I was considering doing Farnsworth in that top picture, but I ended up not doing it. When I was looking at the picture I saw the alien, I couldn't miss it.

Those aliens show up a lot, actually.  Today I was watching "The Problem with Popplers" and noticed one in a crowd scene.  Also, one of them eats a cat in "Less Than Hero."  Though they appear frequently, they probably aren't very memorable because none of them are recurring characters (you hardly ever see any other members of Kif's race, but when you do they're recognizable because they look like him).

Aren't those the same aliens in the "Glagnar's Human Rinds" commercial?

No, but it might be some kind of subspecies:

The same alien is printed on the front of the s2 dvd disc 3, in a car with his robot wife.

There's also one in My Three Suns.  I can't find a grab of it, but it's the guy who says "word" to Fry just before they enter the Little Neptune Market.

An alien of that species also ate a cat in "Less than hero"

The Problem With Popplers, before Zapp announces that Leela has to be eaten there is one in the crowd just behind Fry or Leela, or Bender maybe.

Why do they make female robots if they are inferior in strenght to the male robots? Wouldn't it make more sense to just make male robots. Why hadn't any other evil bendingunit come up with the same idea as Bender?

The first stuff has proboably been discussed after Bendless love but I'm rather new here so.

Maybe the strength of a manbot would be too much for whatever the fembots are bending.

My guess? Most robots are designed by men. And they don't get out much.

Or maybe the female robots have better dexterity, so they are suited for more delicate tasks. This is of course ignoring the question of why there are robot sexes in the first place, which makes absolutely no sense...  :)

My point exactly. Also Robot children as featured in "Bender should not be allowed on tv", why?

Suppose someone built some robots that could build other robots, and programmed them to want to build a human-like society (possibly in some bizzare experiment) then all the odd robot events (child robots, women robots, homeless robots,...) would be explained.

Or maybe it was wizards or something. Who knows.

Maybe when two adult robots fall in love, they can have a custom made robot that looks like them and is basically a kid. The kids can later be upgraded to become adults.
