I just recently watched Leela's Homeworld and I noticed that the orpanarium guy has a gold bureacrat badge and appears to be a grade 136. Anyone have any comments on thes?

I noticed, but not until recently.  Makes sense, though.

You mean that badge that is clearly visible on his chest throughout the entire episode?  Yeah, good spot, [Fry]eagle eye.[/Fry]

^What he said.

Vogel is actually a grade 135 bureaucrat, and have been so for the last 25 years (talk about an underachiever  :D). Since the orphanarium is a public institution, it makes sense he's a member of Central Bureaucracy (although Hermes is suddenly a member of the Federal Bureaucracy).

Little Girl: "Look Daddy, it's another case of Script Logic!"

Either that or the Federal Bureaucracy is a subdivision of the Central Bureaucracy

Yeah, even the guy playing him in the opera in "Devil's Hands" had the badge on!  Now THAT's detail!

It would make sense that an orphanarium would have such a high-classed bureaucrat.  You're not going to have some advanced guy in a non-profit organization.

You all realise there's now a third thing we can blame (after the Wizards and Script Logic) before we recognise it as a mistake?

Alternate Reality.  :p
