Saltwater

In "My three suns" bender for some odd reason decides to cook, remember?

Well the water he served with the meal [Dryed up salt worm] was salt water..
Everyone, aftre taking a drink, spit it out. Even Dr. Zoid!

About 2 or 3 eps later Hermes removes the salt water cooler because of money problems. Dr. Zoid gets mad.

In the first mentioned ep it was clear that he didnt like salt-water but in "hell is other robots he gets made when the cooler is getting removed..

Does this make sence?

Remember, he'd already had a double helping of slug, so maybe he was over his salt limit for the day.

I was tghinkin' someone would.. But thinkin about the question it woundn't make any sence...

Im pretty sure he took a bight of the slug and then took the water.. we never did see him eat the second helping

The water bender served with the slug was super concentrated, 2% less then a lethal dose.  The salt water cooler is like the ocean where zoidberg would live.  So he likes ocean type salt water, just not almost lethaly concentrated salt water.

The slug was 2% less than a lethal dose, not the water.. the water was just plain salt water

so it was the slug that was 2% from lethal, that doesn't mean that bender didn't make the salt water super concentrated, and knowing bender it was.

It would have to be if even zoidberg didn't like it.

This is a kinda late post for this topic. Bender says "It's salt with water in it" That means he filled the glas with salt and then put water in it. And that might make the water so salty that zoidberg can't stand it.

Bender's robotic mind is trying to resolve the difference between the mechanics of cooking and the art of cooking...Unfortunately he doesn't have the subtle sense called human taste...Makes me wonder if his admiration of Elzar because of his cooking skills or his entertaining skills.
