You know...Barry White?

Remember when Fry was asking the now Fembot Bender what would happen if Calculon wanted to sleep with him/her?
" What if he wants to ... you know...Barry White?"

I thought it was odd that they left that line in considering that Barry White died so recently.  I don't think its a line that could offend anyone, but last time I checked, FOX censors weren't ones to take any chances.

i wasnt aware he died but maybe theyll change it for the dvd release like they did in the first ep:
"jfk jr airport" changed to "radio city mutant hall"
how long has he been dead?

He died a little less than a month ago. I don't think FOX really gives a damn what Futurama does now seeing as they don't have to worry about Futurama for much longer. Plus, I don't think Barry White was the kind of guy that would get upset about that sort of thing. He had done a Simpsons episode for Matt.

I think they dropped the "jfk jr airport" reference not because that he had died recently, but rather beacuse of the circumstances how he died (it was a plane crash, remember?)
