perhaps they did and he's stuck at the back of some horrible old museum?

Woo! TOTPD - the first one I've had in about a week! To celebrate this fact, I might do a top of the page guitar solo as well. Or maybe not.

I guess maybe they clone the heads in a similar way that Prof. Farnsworth was going to clone Fry's dog.

I understood Phil Fry II was our Fry's nephew?

Concerning zombies > they indeed SHOULD be mentioned really often, since Voodoo is one of the main religions in the future (and we all know that the term zombie comes from that religion, you know, the living people drugged into thinking they were dead, then used as slaves to the sorceress that slipped them a Mickey...)

zombi - zombior - zombieboth: zomībe, in voodoo, a person believed to have been raised from the grave by a houngan[sorcerer] for purposes of enslavement. The zombi is used by its master to perform heavy manual labor and to implement evil schemes. ...

Doesn't Nixon consult his voodoo priests in one of the episodes?
like i said, one of the main (if not THE main) religions in Futurama is Voodoo, so all the zombie references would be normal... kind of like saying "Jesus H. Christ" nowadays...

Yes, after Bender joined the temple of robotology in Hell is Other Robots the Prof. says: "Why couldn't he have joined a mainstream religion: like Oprahism or Voodoo" most other 21st century religions have been amalgamated (See "Godfellas" ).

Its possible that the 2nd coming of Jesus (as Zombie Jesus) made some Christians switch to Voodoo, in the same way that some Jews switched to Christianity during the first coming. If this is the case Voodoo would have a three part bible.
