I happened to re-watch that episode on DVD today, and yes, there is a single frame in which you can see Nibbler's shadow.

What it means can only be explained with reference to the recent Why Of Fry episode, which you may or may not have seen.

Have you seen 'Jurassic Bark' yet?
And even more important, have you seen 'The Why of Fry' yet too. If you want answers you have to watch that ep  :)

But remember to watch "The Day The Earth Stood Stupid" before "The Why of Fry", otherwise you might be a tad confused.

And Roswell That Ends Well will help you understood why The Day the Earth Stood Stupid is so important to Why of Fry...  So now you have to watch SP3K (for the nibbler shadow) again, The Day the Earth Stood Stupid, Roswell That Ends Well, Jurassic Bark (to see the shadows some more), and end with Why of Fry to get the most meaning of this side story...  Also listen to the commentaries on the DVD for SP3K.

Who does this[/u] kinda look like (circled in red)?

I only noticed it because the guys on the commentary were pointing out secrets or something.
I think it looks a lot like Amy.

Then it's definately a female asian girl.
Is there any secret storyline about Amy having a long lost sister that I missed?

So what's the secret thing the guys were referring to at that particular point on the commentary?

Bender crapping a brick. It's not really a secret, they were just screwing around. This has been discussed somewhere else, but I can't remember where.

BTW, in your description of Roswell That Ends Well you've accidentally put 1967 instead of 1947  :)

[kind of self-advertizing]
heh, found the appropriate thread to inform on the following - I wrote a commentary to SP3K, with nice pics and plenty of info (14 pages), which everyone can read at
 http://futurama.simpsons.ru/articles/beck2.html

Oh, wait, don't go there yet, I forgot to mention it's in Russian!  :) Oh, you know Russian? Now go and enjoy it... lucky russian-speakers!  ;)

Wow, I just read The Fry Hole's description of the whole thing, and it gave me chills.  I don't know why.  Maybe because it's so clever, or the originality, or having all the puzzle pieces being put together.  Thanks for it, aslate.

It stays on there for much more than a single frame. Besides, you can clearly see Nibbler's shadow drawn in the animatics and storyboards of that episode, in the Special Features section of the Season 1 DVD.

But, honestly - I've seen this been discussed so many times, and I've only been here for about 3 months.
