On Mom's Robot Remote Control, the last 2 buttons are:
Serve Man (Regular)
Serve Man (Ironic)
Does anyone get this joke?

Yes. It's from the "Twilight Zone" episode creatively titled "To Serve Man". Quick plot synopsis if you haven't seen it (and shame on you if you haven't. It's really good.)

A group of extraterrestrials make themselves known to the human race. They seem very friendly and accomatating to all humans. However, one reporter is suspicious of their motives. He digs around the old alien stuff, and finds a book that all the aliens have. They learn how to translate the title, and the title is "To Serve Man". They think 'serve' as 'assist'. At the end of the episode, the reporter and many others are lining up to go onto the spaceship to be taken to the aliens' wonderful homeworld, where all their dreams will come true.

At the last second, however, Female Reporter comes rushing into the crowd with this famous line..."To serve man! It's..it's a cookbook!" ('serve' as in 'prepare'). The reporter gasps and the crowd is taken away by the aliens to be eaten.

yeah I've read that story before, but I never realised it was actually a twilight zone episode.  Shame on me for not noticing it though, original twilight zone kicked so much assss...
