S1E1 and nibbler!

Ok its pretty obious when fry fall into the tube a shadow of nibbler can be seen to the left(front) of his chair.
while in antology of interest Nibblers shadow is gone.
Perhaps this is related to the coming episode "time is slipping" that they have to back in time in order to save the universe?

The episode's name is "Time Keeps on Slippin'", after the Steve Miller song.
