We have had a new breakthrough in our TOPTD interpreting technology, thanks to the astute observations of Dr. Fry-Azel, undoubtedly representing the TOPTD Debunking Institute of Earth and Neighbouring Planets. It's a good thing someone here watched that Crimes of the Hot episode so we could have some sort of context for the GIF that we all knew of! I know we've all been putting off watching that damn episode for the past 10+ years, but it's high time we got off our tuci (collective of tucus) and actually watched the show that we all post about, in order to avoid and further embarrassment and/or misunderstandings. It's been discussed a huge amount, and the most common theory is that it was a throwaway line thatcould expand that plotline if the writers wanted to. "The Why of Fry" was brilliant though, so I'm kind of glad they didn't.

The "The Other" line was presented in a way that I took to be more than a throwaway.  So naturally I was hoping that continuity with it would show up before the series ended.
