So a lot of people are saying that when Bender bursts through the wall in Decision 3012, it's the same Bender from 'Bender's Big Score' when he's on the hunt for Fry (Eric Rogers even said it is on Twitter), however, you can clearly see Destructor's legs behind him, so I'm assuming it's the present (future) Bender just on his quest to kill all remaining humans.

Plus, why would Bender go to the future when he knows Fry's in the past? I'm thinking it's just a callback.

People are saying that?  Rogers is saying that?  Huh.  It doesn't make sense to me, I thought it was just a callback too.

It's the same animation model/costume/Bender variant that they drew in BBS. They've given him the same sunglasses and gun, basically.

Bender didn't go into the future - the time code only allows backwards travel. That gun must just be his preferred weapon for exterminating humans (plus, the gun and glasses are a Terminator joke).

They drew Bender as the BBS Terminator Bender because it's a fun callback gag. They didn't screw around with time any further.

Surely it is the Bender from Bender's Big Score because they're the same person (robot)?

But yeah, it's just a callback - I mean, why design a new gun if you can keep continuity fans happy and do less work in the process? I just looked at Eric Rogers' tweet in question and my guess is that he didn't quite get what you meant.

Thanks guys, so it 100% wasn't the same Bender from BBS, just a callback.
