During the commercial-break, Bender's left arm climbs up onto the window frame

The left arm reaches down and picks up the right arm

Bender rotates his right side towards the left arm

The left arm inserts the right arm into Bender's torso

The right arm holds the left arm as the left arm is inserted

Bender rotates so he is facing away from the window

Um, I think he just leant over a little so the first arm could reach, then he just put the other back in by himself...

The left arm is clearly reaching down to pick up the right arm.

How did he get ahold of either arm to begin with though?

Yeah, I thought of that too. As far as I know, you couldn't see how Bender puts his first arm on, because the 'camera' is directed at Fry. But it's a longer time since I saw Space Pilot 3000 the last time.

Bender's body and the parts of it have been shown to be capable of independant movement. It's a simple extrapolation from there to Bender's first arm having re-attached itself to him.

This is why the game always confused me, if Bender can re-attach himself, why does it count as a death if you fall from a cliff and break into pieces? =L

Because the game needs some way to keep track of how much you suck at it.

Ok TNUK, but what about A Head in the Polls? After they took Nixon off his body just laid there on the couch.

The body is dependant on whether or not the plot calls for it to be able to act without a head on it.

Always remember, in Futurama the Rule of Funny transcends everything.

If funny has to be enforced by rules it doesn't sound very fun (or funny).   :(

Well some people might have been using the generic you, rather than aiming it at you specifically. Which would make some other people jerks for insinuating that perfectly innocent people making perfectly innocent remarks were jerks.

Got it, jerk? :p

You guys... That's the joke! It's like looking at an Escher painting. It's supposed to be impossible. That's the fun. I laugh every time. :)

Bender can re-attach himself.  That's how he's made.  He even re-attached himself in one of the comic books.
